Meet the Staff
Dr. Barbara "Bobbie" Warash has a doctorate in Early Childhood Education with a master's in Child Development and Family Studies (CDFS). In addition to directing the Nursery School, she serves as a professor in CDFS within the College of Education and Human Services at West Virginia University. Her research focuses on early childhood curricula and program development.
Pre-K Teacher and Associate Director
Melissa Workman has a master's degree in Child Development and Family Studies as well as Early Intervention. She has a certificate in Educational Leadership. She is the Pre-K teacher of the four and five-year-old class.
All the staff, above, are certified in Pre-K by the West Virginia Department of Education. The Nursery School also employs two graduate students to assist the teachers in the classroom.
