Coming Soon: The WVU Early Learning Institute
Beginning in the 2026–27 academic year, the WVU Nursery School will transition to a full-day early childhood education model and be renamed the WVU Early Learning Institute.
The WVU Early Learning Institute will offer high-quality, full-day early learning in a safe, engaging environment designed to support the needs of today’s working families. The transition expands the program from its half-day model to a schedule that better aligns with family routines while maintaining the individualized attention and educational quality that have long been provided.
We are proud to offer:
- Full-day programming (7 AM–5:30 PM) for preschool and PreK students, including continued participation in collaborative PreK programming in partnership with Monongalia County Schools.
- On-site meal service to support a full-day schedule.
- Increased enrollment capacity over time.
- A program grounded in WVU’s expertise in early childhood education, ensuring children benefit from the latest research and best practices in child development and learning.
How To Enroll
Those interested in the WVU Early Learning Institute must first submit the Enrollment Interest Form . Families are contacted in the order in which the forms are received as openings become available.
