Three-Year-Old Update: The students have loved reading the silly story There Was an Old Dragon Who Swallowed a Knight by Penny Parker Klostermann. They reenacted the story using puppets and used the blocks to build a giant castle outside. We have begun transitioning into our pumpkin study and the students have loved washing the pumpkins in the sensory table. Please feel free to send Erin pictures of your child getting their pumpkin this year so we can display them in the classroom.
Four-Year-Old Update: The four-year-olds have been exploring, building, and drawing 2D-3D shapes. Throughout the rest of the month, we will be investigating all things fall-related. We will continue to practice writing first names and discover so much through science experiments. Thank you so much for your pumpkin donations! Colorful fall leaf donations are always welcome!
