3-Year-Old Class UpdateIn the morning class, we are continuing our study of pumpkins! We also enjoyed the hot air balloons last week and learned more about what makes them float. To begin our Classical Art study, the students looked at pictures by 4 famous artists and voted for their favorite. Because Piet Mondrian was the winner, we will begin learning about the abstract artist and his paintings before creating a canvas painting of our own. We will also begin to transition into our study of transportation.

4-Year-Old Class UpdateIn the afternoon class, the children have been busy exploring fall leaves and pumpkins. Through various experiments, they were excited to learn about why leaves change color in the fall! They have explored pumpkins by identifying their parts and investigating the pumpkin life cycle. We have continued to work with 2D and 3D shapes, as well as various forms of measurement.
